I know Jews whose surname is Fox. I actually thought you were Jewish. I deeply respect your knowledge and opinions about warfare because they come from real expertise. Now I realize your life is not on the line, as ours is. You are just speaking up for us out of conscience. And I am so fricking grateful.

Thank you for your articulate analysis of the conflict, day after day, and thank you for having our backs. We get used to being shunned or attacked for things we did not do, for having the bloodline of a pariah race. I know you are not the only one who speaks out for us but every person who does, who "doesn't have a dog in the race" but who speaks out nevertheless out of a sense of justice, these are the people who give me a little faith in humanity.

I used to think that most people were fundamentally decent, but that they can be led astray by bad narratives. I'm not so sure about that now because I've seen so many people leap to embrace bad narratives and refuse to accept facts that disprove their worldview. People are tribal and they think what their community tells them to think so they won't be ostracized. So someone who has the courage to speak his truth when he will surely be punished for it, well there is no end to the respect I have for such a person.

Andrew, thank you for bringing my thoughts to your Substack! We do need to WAKE UP! The US is in a similar state and it is disgusting to watch these “parades” and “marches” take place. These people marching would be murdered by the very people they are supporting!

I just read your letter Andrew. I am Jewish and I am married to a girl from London. We live in Jerusalem.

Frankly, I am in tears now.

God bless you and thank you my friend.

Thank You Andrew.

I also am not a Jewish person but I respect them for the sheer load of grief and horror that this world has thrust on them for centuries.

As a follower of a Jewish man born in Bethlehem about 2000 years ago, I find it shameful that much of the antisemitism originated from people who described themselves as Christian.

Seems to me that to do this they had to disregard an awful lot of what both the Old Testament and the New Testament teaches.

““For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

On the subject of terrorism - as a child of the Northern Ireland troubles I thought that I knew something about terrorism, and while I do, our experience here in the province pales so far into insignificance when compared to what happened to Israel on October 7th 2023.

There is no leaderboard of atrocities of course nor should there be, but the Omagh Bombing was our most deadly single terrorist atrocity, conducted by the so called Real IRA who of course were fellow terrorist travellers with the predecessors of Hamas, the PLO and their ilk.

Another thing that is apparent in Northern Ireland is that people of the Unionist community like myself instinctively support Israel’s right to self defence, while those on the Irish Nationalist and Republican side invariably support the Palestinian side. Be that as it may.

I thank you for taking the time to visit Israel - on a sort of pilgrimage - to better understand what Israel suffered on October 7th and why the war they are waging is not only necessary for their survival but also necessary for ours.

Like Ukraine, Israel are fighting a war against the Axis of Evil.

In Israels case, the main enemy is Iran.

For Ukraine it is Russia.

However, we know that Russia, Iran, North Korea and China are all part of that same axis.

It’s beyond time that our governments here in the west woke up. The MI5 report referenced by the chief in his speech should be a wake up call for the UK Government, but probably won’t be.

Keep up the good work Andrew.

Eloquent phrasing: "And so, almost every weekend since, we have seen a turd-berg of antisemitism, shat out by extremists and supported on the backs of useful idiots, floating disgustingly down London’s streets on a sewage river of disinformation."

They're floating in US streets as well. Thanks for keeping us centered militarily with informed, rational, and cogent analyses. You are a special gift in these discussions.

Andrew Thank you. Some day if you get a moment please take a look at Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s “The Iron Wall”. It’s only 8 pages and was delivered almost exactly 100 years before the October 7, 2023 attack. To me you sound like a contemporary Orde Wingate, he’s one of my heroes and you though younger than me by a long shot you are becoming one too.

Thank you Mr. Fox. You are a mensch, a righteous among the nations and you possess clarity that so much of the smart set lacks. This whole thing goes so far beyond Israel itself and even the Jews of the West. Western Europe is dying, destroyed by the welcome of endless numbers of unassimilable Muslims among whom the monsters swim and among whom they prey. Even now the leadership class doesn't see the danger. I don't expect the people of Europe (and certainly not of the United States) to allow their nations to be taken over by radical Islam. But the backlash is going to be violent and I fear that liberal government and society may be the victim.

We also thank you Andrew. Those of us in Canada. In Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver … where the winds of hate have blown in just as harshly immediately after the October 7 massacre and ever since.

No, everyone has a dog in the fight of everything :)

No conflict is truly local, but all fights transcend their immediate contexts and reflect the great ethical and spiritual battles of our times, and especially this one. That's why so many seemingly unrelated people are taking an interest in this on both sides.

Ultimately, you are on the right side of one of the great spiritual fights of our time, and that affects all of humanity. And that's hugely significant.

Thank you, Andrew, for your moving post. The current climate in the U.S. is similar to what you describe in London and is truly unsettling for many Jews, myself included. With the rise of antisemitism worldwide, I often find myself questioning where I might go if things worsen. Your message serves as a vital reminder that there are still many who stand against hate and are willing to publicly support Jews, even at their own risk, despite the overwhelming loudness of intolerant voices.

Since Oct. 7th, amidst the troubling claims against Israel that contradicted everything I know about Israel and the Jewish people, I sought out facts to inform my perspective. I didn’t want to support Israel blindly. Your thoughtful and informative posts over the past year have been invaluable in helping me navigate these challenges. I’m truly grateful for your insights; they’ve given me the confidence to stand firm in my beliefs, even when I feel exhausted and want to escape the violent protests and hateful narratives targeting my people, my country, and me.

Thank you again for everything you do.
